This trendy little cafe is fabulous. We've visited Rye twice, and both times our lunch here washed down with a glass of wine has been such a highlight of our trip. The food is so fresh and full of flavour. Brilliant vegan options and really friendly staff.

Tonight we had a wonderful selection of small plates presented by our very friendly and efficient waiter. Very delicious food, beautifully presented and priced very reasonably. Superb superb superb. Thanks to the team! Can’t wait to return :)

I rarely write reviews but this place deserves one. I had the best brunch ever. The aubergine dish was delicious, tasty, well balanced, textured and flavoursome. I would kindly ask for the recipe because I will dream of this dish for many weeks to come 😃😃😃 Service is also great, bathroom clean, well located restaurant and nicely decorated. Will definitely try and come back to Rye and visit The Fig soon

Amazing tapas style food. Small, cosy restaurant with food prepared in front of diners. Wonderful menu and food was excellently presented. Book in advance if you're planning a visit.

One of my favourite hotel stays ever! Comfy and stylish rooms, very welcoming staff with excellent friendly service. One of the best brunches I’ve ever had. Plus a delicious dinner with great wine and cocktails, cheer the fig we loved our stay!

I went there with my family after visiting lots of shops, we were quite hungry so we chose The Fig. The atmosphere was enjoyable and the service was very good however I cannot say the same for the food. Although it came quite quickly, it was not as enjoyable as I hoped. We had the burrito bowl and goan prawn curry. The proportion was surprisingly good, however, the food was very bland. The burrito bowl had spice but no flavour and only had a few token nachos (more nachos were needed). The Goa prawn curry lacked spice but was well presented. In conclusion, the atmosphere was nice and trendy but the food was OK. I will not be coming there again.

Stayed here on Sunday 26th November. Was lovely! Room was very nice, clean and a lovely hot shower. The inclusive breakfast was tremendous!! Excellent location. Would highly recommend.

Excellent venue for an evening meal. A good selection of small courses with a variety of flavours. The vibe is predominantly Mediterranean and Middle Eastern with a touch of Mexican. A good wine list too. Pricewise it’s reasonable and with a friendly and helpful team to serve you it’s got to be the place to go!
